Fantasia Tilda

Most every body's favorite little girl, mini Tilda is having a dream that she is living in a magical land with fairies and gnomes and beautiful butterflies. Her best friend Nat the Gnome has gone to get them a luscious sparkling drink and Tilda is waiting in the shade of her favorite mushroom tree for him to return. A friendly butterfly flutters by and leaves jewels along the way.

She giggle and waves, wishing him on his way and is just plain enjoying the day. She then  remembers Nat and  hopes he returns soon because she is very thirsty and loves to feel the bubbles tickling her tongue. Oh where can he be? They must hurry if they are going to continue their journey...(to be continued).

My little friend is mounted on Stampin Up Cardstock and Creative Imagination DP (I think this DP was made for this little scene). The background digi was a Freebie from Torico.  I can not remember from what store (maybe Tilda or Nat knows). I used Glossy accents on the "buttons" and the butterfly (clip art) was colored with pastel chaulk, as were all thedigi stamps. PSX Designs "Sparkles" were used to bling things up as well as Way2Scrap rhinestone flourishes, and ribbon and rhinstone flowers  from Hobby Lobby.

I hope you enjoyed mini Tilda's adventure and come back to read the next chapter. You can subscribe or follow so you will know when Tilda's travels continue.

Mums the Word

Good morning everyone,I have  been real busy in the real world with family, so I've  been gone awhile. Made this little card for a sketch challenge at Stamp Fairy, and forgot to use their image...opps! Lol, but that's ok, I like the simplicity of it and love using black as matting; black seems to make colors pop and I love that. It is very bright and cheery out so this pic was taken outside and it really shows off the embossing I think. I chose an image from JustRite Stamps I got from Joan's Garden, sweet, sweet lady BTW. I colored the image with copics, blending yellow and green as requested at the Make it Colourful Challenge.
the card stock is Bazzill , the ribbon is from Mike's $1 bin and I made the bead embellie, the pearls are Recollection's.

Something Green

Good evening just a little ole' something green. I used a "Kellies Kids" Digi from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps I love ALL digis! I used Spellbinder Label die, a Stampin' Up punch, some Recollection rhinestones, Marvy liquid gold, and  a Studio G $1 stamp for the sentiment, The ribbon and bead I use to make an embellie are from my stash.
I colored the sweet thing with Derwent pencils and baby oil.

The inside sentiment is from Flourishes "Irish Blessing" Stamp set I won at random for Jan's (the owner) Birthday Blog Hop. Woohoo!

This was a fun shaped card to make...hope you enjoyed it. Be sure to leave some lovin.'

Goodwill Sunshine Baby

Happy Sunday! I certainly hope all is well with you. I would like to say my heart and prayers go out to all those effected by the catastrophic situation in Japan. We are so blessed in this country and should thank God everyday for all that we have.

This bright little baby card was soooo much fun to make! The first pic shows the depth of the card the best, whereas the second one  shows the true copic coloring of the wee babe. I chose to use the Sweet Stop Sketch for the design and a MO Manning digi stamp for the focal point. This baby fairy is so sweet! The card stock is from Stampin' Up, Mike's and I used tag board as the base and colored everything with copics.
The oooh so cute duckie DP is from Frances Meyer and  the adorable Baby Play Things DP is from Rainbow World, I think they both work out perfectly.
On an adventure to Goodwill I found a baggie full of baby party favors one of which turned out to be terrific for the sentiment; I just had to include the feetsies, so I added shadow with copics and mounted them on a Quikcuts tag I made. They are so cute!
Next I made some vellum flowers with rhinestone centers and I even though not in the design I just HAD to add the baby ribbon that has rattles and teething rings on it (this ribbon was also from Goodwill- what fun!). And guess wha? There werealso little plastic duckies in that baggie too---the best 50c I ever spent!

the sweet little baby fairy needed a little somepim' somepim' so I used glitter on her wings; EVEN fairies in training need sparkly wings to flutter. (giggle). I am so happy I got to share her with you and I think she really needs a cuddle!

Lucky Green

Just another quick post. The greens are really nicer than the pic shows; her shoes are green and show up as grey, weird!  This sweet Magolia stamp qualifies for several "green" challenges, plus a couple others.
I used the I Did It Creations Sketch #45 for the design of my card. The cardstock is Bazzill and the DP is DCWV. The trim and rhinestone are from HobLobby. The sentiment is from Mike's $1 bin ( Love those bins!).

This is for the following Challenges...

I hope you have had a lovely day. Hugs to all and God's Blessings.

Vintage Birthday Wishes Easel Card

Just a couple quick posts for today. A friend needed a victorian Birthday card for her future DIL so I created this for her. I used Bazzill cardstock,  a DP with no name on it, from JoAnn's.  I also used Label Four from Spellbinders and my Lace Circle punch from Fiskars for the matting. The Rhinestone flourish is fromWay2Scrap, the large flowers and the roses I inked and cut off of ribbon trim from HobLobby; as is thebraiding. I used a scrap of DP from my stash to make the accordian base flower, and put a pearl brad in the center. The Birthday sentiment is a Free Digi from Bizzy Becs

Morning's Glory

Good Morning! My wish is that everyone is having a Blessed Day and that they are enjoying themselves in Blogville. I always spend waayyyy to much time looking at everyone else's creations and then panic when I realize I am about to miss a closing date...Yikes! Come on...you know we all do it...lol. But I have a valid excuse; I have been with my youngest granddaughter. This pic was taken last night at my other son's house. Zoey is so good natured and is a social butterfly at 19 months. She made the rounds to every one's lap. Lol. I am so very thankful they came to visit from Ca. In the second pic are my youngest sister's young adult daughters.

                                                                        .
That said here is today's creation. For this card I used a JustRite Stamp I purchased at Joan's Garden. [There is still time to enter the JustRite Blog Hop Challenge, there is a Fabulous prize to win.] My pictures are not the best because  it is raining and very grey outside...and lamplight give some of the pics a yellowy tint.

The papers are Bazzill and the doily is from the Dollar Store. Since I wanted the flower to really pop I used minimal embellishments.

The flourishes are from Way2Scrap and the single pearls are from Recollections. I also used my Spellbinders circle die, cut the scalloped circle in half and embellished it with more pearls.

Challenges I am entering...

I hope you enjoyed the card and leave a comment...I definitely appreciate them.
Hugs to All!
