Happy Day everybody. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I am. I love to hop around cardland and look at all the beautiful creations. They truly blow me away. All the brilliant talent is so inspiring, I must say. Everyday I see something new. And just the few months I have been blogging I have learned so much.
It really touches my heart that everyone is so helpful and kind. Thank you to all those that help me and each other. Now on to my latest card.
I found these lovely digi papers at Bearly Mine Designs...they were Freebies, woohoo! When I found them I instantly thought of making a Magnolia card. Aqua is one of my favorite colors, and I just knew it would look terrific as matting for Tilda. So, I colored Tilda with Large Bow with copics and mounted her with pop dots on to a Spellbinders die cut circle, which I had previously stamped with a JustRite circle border stamp (boy what a "run-on sentence...lol). I decided to make it into an easel card and used the same digi DP on the inside.
I then made all of my flowers using copy paper; it makes the card lighter and wrinkles like I want it to. The carnation like flowers are edged with diamond Stickles. And the larger size five point flowers have dew drops for centers, whereas the little ones I dotted with my copic tip,B01. The leaves are from a Carl Punch.
I also made a couple of bead embellies to add some extra bling.
I colored all the clear rhinestones from Want2Scrap with copics B00 to match my papers.
The two flowers on the inside of the card are paper flowers covering rhinestone flowers. The picture does not show how just a tad of bling peeks out around the edges of the paper flowers. This way I got the height I needed to hold the top up and they did not distract from the flourish.
The paper lace was from a huge prize I won from Gina L at Gina Speaks.
I sent this off for the April Mingle at Magnolia-licious and want to enter it in the following challenges...
I had fun making this card and I hope you like it. Thank you for stopping by.
Hugs and Blessings to you all.
